Jobs. Family. Future.

"Now, more than ever, we need energetic leaders willing to fight to bring jobs and prosperity to rural Maine. That will continue to be my mission, each and every day." - Sen. Harold "Trey" Stewart

Grow Good Local Jobs --
I’ll continue to be a champion of local businesses, and will work to fund more vocational programs so our kids are trained for good-paying careers in technology and the trades.
Protecting Our Rural Traditions --
Protecting our outdoor heritage and traditions will always be a priority for me.

Opportunities for meaningful employment in Northern Maine are key to attraction and retention of young families. Sen. Stewart has passed legislation to break down barriers to employment and has fought to reduce regulations and taxes to keep rural Maine competitive and attractive for economic growth. He will continue to fight for small business and staple industries in the County.

The family is the backbone of all good communities and when families come first in politics, our society is strengthened. Sen. Stewart has worked hard in the legislature to put families at the center of the discussion, addressing all generations at the same time. Trey believes that families should come before politics and will continue to work in a bipartisan way to ensure families come first in the Maine Senate.

As the youngest member of the Maine legislature, Sen. Stewart has been successful through hard work and determination. He knows that if you want to have a successful state, you can't only focus on the issues of today, but have to focus on the issues of tomorrow as well. Sen. Stewart works constantly to create better opportunities for Maine's young people so that the next generation can look forward to living in Northern Maine.
